#SE252 Horstmann 1840 Cavalry Saber with Scabbard Horstmann manufacturer of Philadelphia PA the blade, which was imported from Solingen, Germany, is 32 1/8” in length with a very slight tarnishing. The ricasso is marked with Horstmann stamp. The grip has the original leather wrap with twisted wire. This scabbard shows more surface tarnishing, but no dents.
