#612 Forehand and Wadsworth Swamp Angel .41 RF The .41 rim fire cartridge was the first mass produced cartridge it proceeded the .45 and .38 by many years most all manufactures had a .41 cartridge gun. Manufactured from 1871 to 1890 this is a 5 shot revolver on the left side of barrel is stamped “Forehand & Wadsworth Worcester, Massachusetts U.S. Pat. Sept. 24. Oct. 22 / 61 - Jany. 27 / 71” in a two line address barrel still has good rifling with minor lightly spotting in bore. With 80% bright nickel, scattered salt and pepper staining, 70% varnish on two piece wood grips. Action works great in single action and locks up tight. Serial #1039XX
