Colt police Positive 38 special ca1914
Description
This police positive has very good action and locks up tight Just
a very slight wobble in cyclinder. indexes and timming correct.The barrel
is 4 7/8 in long appears original
the finish retains about 75% original blue and thinning in places on barrell and from back strap has worn smooth from wear and handling.
The bore shows skid marks and very slight etch and is bright and shinney Lands and grooves sharp. Barrel address and markings sharp.
the rubber grips show even wear with one small chip each side of grips on the heal. The trigger displays the irradesent fire Blue as as found on original old colts. the serial # 89,xxx denotes circa 1914
