#4900 Colt 1851 Navy Model, 7-1/2”x36cal, 88XXX (1860) Fourth Variation

Description

#4900 Colt 1851 Navy Model, 7-1/2”x36cal, 88XXX (1860) Fourth Variation, and matching except both the wedge and cylinder are unnumbered. Smooth even grayish brown exterior with a very decent cylinder scene remaining (about 60-70%). Decent action altho’ the cylinder stop spring is weak and the bore is well worn with weak rifling; about a “5-6” on a scale of 10. VG/VG+ original grips with average wear. The rammer has had a repair to the catch and the notch has a chip as well (see photos). All-in-all, still a very decent looking old Navy that likely saw the entire Civil War as a personal weapon of some soldier or officer. VG $1545

Price: $1,545.00
