#3121 Colt 1848 Dragoon mold, 44-caliber, brass bodied with iron sprue cutter

Description

#3121 Colt 1848 Dragoon mold, 44-caliber, brass bodied with iron sprue cutter. Rough condition, but real and a very scarce. The markings are obliterated by pitting, the sprue cutter slide-notch end is broken off ...but it does have a good bullet cavity. Probably for the 2nd or 3rd Model Colt Dragoon because it does have the bullet heel ridge. A very rare and early Colt mold to find, and these early Colt 44 caliber brass molds are almost never seen on the "open market". $225

Price: $225.00
